Day 1

Up at 6.00am for a bit of farm maintenance. Introduction to the resident cattle. Very regal looking and extremely charming. A stressful introduction to mikes quad bike, holding on backwards, until my knuckles literally bled and I was covered in cow shit! A journey into the veggie garden for what i can only describe as mowing the grass and weeds with my bare hands. And in my excitement almost, totally decimated the tomato patch. Establishing my role in the kitchen...basically, always the washer upper.
